Current Staff
Mr. Rickards joined NCDS as Chief Engineer in November 2008.
He comes to NCDS with a record of achievements in Information and Communications Technology management. He most recently served for 8 ½ years’ as ICT Manager with a Public Utility in St. Vincent & The Grenadines. Prior to that he gained 27 years’ ICT experience in Jamaica, where he worked in the areas of Government, Mining, Manufacturing, Distribution, Transportation, Life Insurance, Tourism, Agriculture and Consulting.
Mr. Rickards serves as an ex officio member of the NCDS Board. He holds a First Degree in Economics from the University of the West Indies (Mona) and has completed numerous courses in Management and Information Technology.
Mr. Persaud has worked as a Systems Engineer at NCDS since January 2006. He now holds the position of Senior Systems Engineer with responsibility for Banking Operations.
Mr. Persaud previously held the positions of Information Specialist for the Environmental Protection Agency (Guyana) and Network Administrator for the same agency and Global Technology (Guyana). Mr. Persaud also brings some banking experience to his role after working with the National Bank of Industry and Commerce (Guyana).
NCDS has benefitted from his experience in Microsoft platforms in which he has administered NT, 2000, and 2003 environments, with MS SQL and MS Exchange servers. He has also applied his programming skills in Visual Basic over the years to develop MS Access/MS SQL databases and Web-Based applications using the .Net Framework.
Mr. Persaud has over nine (9) years experience in the Information Technology field and holds the following professional certifications: Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD.Net), Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD.net), Microsoft Certified IT Professional Database Administrator SQL2005, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA 2000), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE NT4) and Cisco CCNA to name just a few. Mr. Persaud has also attended the Domino Notes Admin 8 boot camp.
Mr. Jerome Linton joined NCDS in October 2009 as Senior Systems Engineer. He has special responsibilities in the areas of Networking and Electronic Payments.
Mr. Linton is an insightful result driven IT professional who possesses a great diversity of skills in both Telecommunications Engineering and Information Technology coupled with his experience in Network Engineering, Programming, Project Management and Decision Making. Mr. Linton served as a Senior Operations Specialist and a Roaming Engineer at Digicel Jamaica with core responsibilities designing, system roll-out, stressed testing, support and maintaining the applications developed along with writing proposals and solutions, performing proof of concept, leading development progress and conducting technical, system and end user training.
Mr. Linton has over five (5) years experience in the Information Technology field, He’s a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Network Professional and Security Professional and is currently pursuing a B.Sc. Management Information Systems.
Mr. Connor has been employed at NCDS since July 2007 as the Accountant. He demonstrates a great diversity of skills at NCDS including Accounting, computer information systems, project management and decision making.
He was Employed at Summit Distributing, Miller Beer Distributor, St. Louis, Missouri, as Assistant Controller from 2005-2007
He is a very dedicated, confident and ambitious individual who is always willing to take on new challenges.
He holds Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Management information Systems and a MBA with an emphasis in Finance
Mr. Rickie Fleming has been employed at NCDS since March 2009, in the capacity of System Support Technician. Prior to joining NCDS, he worked as an Internet helpdesk Rep / Supervisor and then as System Support at LIME (formally Cable and Wireless) Regional Call Centre.
His exposure in areas such as Internet configuring assistance, Symposium, Active Directory, IVR, Quality Customer Service, Management (Helpdesk Supervisor) makes him a valuable asset to the company.
Rickie attended the Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School, where he successfully graduated in 2002. He is currently pursuing a BS degree in Network and Communication Management at DeVry University.
Ms Kaira Richardson joined National Commercial Data Services (NCDS) in March 2010 as a System Support Technician.
Prior to joining NCDS, she worked as a General Service agent and was trained Internet faults for Cable and Wireless Regional Call Centre and Brown Hill Communication LTD where she was a sales/customer service representative. She also has two years of studies in social studies, politics and communications from the University of the Virgin Islands. Her dedication to her work and customers, Internet Troubleshooting, Customer Service skills and communication skills gained at her previous jobs and University makes her a valuable asset to the company.
Mr. Marvin Hazell became a member of the NCDS team in April 2010 in the role of Systems Support Technician.
He brings to NCDS a background comprising Information Technology and Customer Service. Having spent three years working in the Government of Anguilla’s IT Unit as a Systems Technician, and alternating several years in the Tennis industry as an instructor and player, and also the Telecommunications industry as a Customer Service Representative, he plans to solidify his Technology background by joining NCDS.
Mr. Hazell pursued and completed Associate studies in the UK from 2006 to 2008 and in the process has worked for Severn Trent Water’s IT Support Office in Birmingham. He plans to continue his education by completing his Microsoft Certifications as well as a BS degree in the near future. He brings great character to the team and a strong, well rounded work ethic.
Before Ms. Akbar’s employment at the NCDS in February 2006 she worked at the Cable & Wireless Regional Contact Center (Anguilla) Ltd as a Customer Service Representative/Frame Relay Coordinator, Anguilla Social Security Board as an Operations Clerk/Receptionist and the Scotia Bank (Anguilla) Ltd as a Frontline Teller.
It is with her many interactions with people of different cultures that she gained diverse customer service experiences which have assisted in her capacity as Accounts/Administrative Assistant at NCDS.
Consistent with the company’s goal to train staff and provide means for higher training and education, Ms. Akbar has been enrolled with DeVry undertaking a bachelor degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Information Systems. She has already completed one year and upon successful completion she will graduate in 2011.
Ms. Akbar is a valuable asset to the organization and it is expected that she grows from strength to strength with the company.
Mrs. Valerie Bradley has been employed with National Commercial Data Services (NCDS) since April 2008 as Help Desk Operator.
Mrs. Bradley brings to NCDS banking experience and excellent Customer Service skills gained from the Caribbean Commercial Bank.
She is a graduate of Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School in Anguilla and holds a Diploma in Applied Information Technology from Canadian College of Business and Computers. She also has a certificate in Lotus Domino 8 Administration and in Numara Trackit Administration.
She is currently enrolled in Edexcel obtaining an Associate Degree in Business Information Technology.
Ms Tamieka Mills joined NCDS in February 2010 as Help Desk Operator.
Prior to Tamieka’s employment at NCDS she has worked with Cable and Wireless Regional Contact Center in the Internet Support Department and Brown Hill Communication LTD where she started as a sales representative and later became a Help Desk Agent.
Her Internet Troubleshooting and Customer Service skills gained at the previous jobs makes her a valuable asset to the company.
